Breed History

The Siberian Husky was developed by the Chukchi people in Siberia, Russia, to pull sleds over long distances in harsh arctic conditions. These dogs were bred for stamina, strength, and endurance. The breed became famous in the early 20th century for their role in sled dog races, most notably the 1925 serum run to Nome, Alaska. Today, they are known for their stunning looks, boundless energy, and friendly, outgoing personalities.
